What is the L'Éloge warranty & repair policy?

We stand behind the quality of our products and are happy to offer a 1-year warranty on all of our 14K Gold Solid pieces.

    1. Within the 1-year warranty, if our products are defective in materials or workmanship other than user error, we will offer one complimentary maintenance service. We are strived to work with you to repair the jewellery with our talented craftsmen. But customers will be responsible for shipping fees.

    2. The warranty is available for all full priced 14K Gold Solid jewellery purchased online. The warranty does not cover items on sale and items part of sample sales. The 1-year period starts when the goods have been dispatched.

    3. Under this warranty, if we cannot repair the product, we will replace it given that the defective items will not be returned to the customer. If the style of the merchandise is no longer available, we will replace the product with product similar in style or provide a store credit equal to the value of the item less any discount and delivery cost.

    4. This warranty does not cover damage from accidents, fire, flood, or other natural disasters, cleaning products or chemicals, contact with sharp or abrasive objects, human fluids, stains or spills, pet damage, misuse, normal wear & tear, or from any other service/alteration made by any other party.

    5. Fine jewelry is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. This is particularly true for rings since hands are regularly subjected to considerable abuse. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered.

    6. We also warrant that our 14K Gold Solid jewelry is tarnish resistant for the duration of this warranty. Please note that any tarnishing caused due to failure to adhere to the care instructions are not included in this warranty

    7.  Some examples of common jewelry issues that are not covered within this warranty:
  • Loss or disappearance of gems or parts
  • Normal wear and tear, such as ring scratches, peels, or if they are bent out of shape from rough use
  • Breakage due to rough use
  • Tarnish or deterioration due to contact with toxic acids and substances

  • If the item is out of warranty, we are not responsible for wear and tear that occurs to the piece. The customer needs to bear for any and all shipping and repairmen charges.

  • Due to our own customised work, we do not recommend bringing our work to other jewelers, as they are not accustomed to working with our pieces.

Process of repairmen:

  1. Repairmen charges largely depend on the type of damage that occurs. In order to have your jewelry repaired or replaced under our warranty, please email our Client Concierge Team at info@lelogejewelry.com to receive a quote for the repair. Also, make sure to include your order number, a copy of your purchase receipt and photos of the product including the front, back and sides of your jewellery.
  2. Once we review your request, we will contact you with instructions within 5 business days with the next steps in the process. You will be responsible for shipping the product and any expenses related to shipping.
L'Éloge is NOT responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during return shipping and we cannot refund items that are lost or stolen. Please provide us with a return tracking number via email in order to avoid issues such as this.

What is the return & refund policy?

At L'Éloge , we strive to make sure every customer is fully satisfied with their purchase and experience.

As our jewels are made-to-order, cancellation must be done within 12 hours of placing your order. Once 12 hours have passed, your order cannot be cancelled. Cancellation fee may be charged by the third party payment platform depending on which platform you use.

  1. All pieces are final sale and cannot be refunded owing to the handmade nature of each piece. All rings are subject to a resizing fee and can't be exchanged for another size.

  2. As we value our customers, we offer a one-off free exchange service for the same product after deducting the original shipping fees. We do not, under any circumstances, refund shipping fees. Return must be made within 7 business days (as determined by the tracking delivery date) of receiving your order to qualify for exchange service. Customers will be responsible for the shipping expenses.

  3. If you receive the product damaged, we will be happy to send you a replacement after the defective item is received by us

  4. All returned goods will be inspected upon arrival at our appointed addresses. All items must be returned in resalable condition in original packaging and exchanged only one time per receipt. Returns that are not in original condition, outside of this time frame or unauthorised returns cannot be accepted.

  5. Return can only be processed through L'Éloge Jewelry. No exchanges are permitted for sale goods and promotional items. We currently do not process exchange for a different product.

  6. You cannot return items that were purchased with the exchange service

  7. Process of return:
    In order to initiate the return process, please email our Client Concierge Team at info@lelogejewelry.com within 7 business days of receiving your items. 
    • Please include (1) your order number, (2) a copy of your purchase receipt and (3) photos of the product and (4) reason for return as well as (5) a return tracking number.
    • For your protection, all returned items must appear new and unworn, in their original condition, and carefully and securely wrapped in their original packaging. Also, please ship your order with an insured courier and retain your receipt
    • If you do not follow this process, your refund may be refused or delayed. You will be responsible for shipping costs when returning items.
    • L'Éloge is NOT responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during return shipping and we cannot refund items that are lost or stolen. Please provide us with a return tracking number via email in order to avoid issues such as this.

How should I care for my jewellery?

Each piece of our jewellery is hand-crafted by talented artisans around the world and hence, delicate. They are all made with tarnish resistant materials. With proper care and love, all your L'Éloge jewellery can last for years.

The quality of our jewellery is extremely important to us. We have been working closely with our craftsmen to ensure that the best materials and processes are used for every product.

In order to enjoy the longevity of your jewelry, please take the following recommendations:

  • When are you wearing your jewelry:
    • Remove your jewellery when you bathe, swim or do any high impact physical exercise to maintain its quality and shine
    • Keep your jewellery away from extreme temperatures, humidity or sunlight
    • Avoid spraying perfumes and applying creams or any other liquids directly onto your jewellery
    • Avoid exposing your jewelry from skin care products, soaps, detergents, perfumes and other substances which may contain acidic and harsh ingredients. So please put your jewellery on last
    • Avoid sleep, bathe or swim with your jewelry

  • When you are cleaning your precious metal:
    • Use a jewellery polishing cloth to rub in one direction to keep your jewellery shine
    • Avoid using tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal since scratches maybe left
    • After each wear, wipe the metal surface gently down with the suede pouch or a soft cloth and store it inside the pouch, in a location that is away from direct sunlight, moisture, air conditioning and heat

  • When you are cleaning your gemstones:
    • Keep your jewellery away from direct sunlight and remove it whilst sunbathing. Because extreme temperatures and strong UV rays can cause gemstones to fade in colour and shine
    • Avoid direct contact with water, chemical liquids, perspiration, lotions, detergents and perfume. Remove jewellery when washing your hands, showering or swimming. Gemstones are porous and as a result of this they are able to absorb anything.
    • Be mindful of any knocks or bumps when wearing semi precious gemstones and always remove jewellery when exercising
    • Clean your gemstones with a clean, soft, damp cloth after wearing

  • When you are storing your jewellery:
    • Store your jewellery in a soft pouch or suitably lined box when not in use as it will help to slow down the natural tarnishing process
    • Place a small packet of desiccant crystals where you store your jewellery if you live in a humid environment

What currency is the website in?

All products are displayed in USD. Your orders are processed in USD, and are converted to the local currency via your bank or payment method.

    How long will it take to receive my order?

    As we make all of our pieces by hand in our studio, we are striving to work on your order as quickly as possible. While searching for the quality gemstone for you, the ring can take up to 4-6 weeks to create.

    If you need the piece by a specific date or would like to expedite service, please leave a note specifying the detail and email our Client Concierge Team at info@lelogejewelry.com.

    Please note that orders placed during the holiday season may result in longer production times. We are not liable for any shipping delays via third party logistics companies.

    Is my jewelry wrapped with a box?

    Yes. Each order arrives in a custom LE box and travel pouch, ready for gifting.

    What is the status of my order?

    Once you’ve received your shipping confirmation email, you will have the ability to track your package on the corresponding shipping carrier's website.

    What is a pre-order?

    As all of our rings are made-to-order in order to best fit with your needs, we offer pre-order as a way to reserve a design in advance of our upcoming product delivery, with the understanding that it will ship at a later date than when you purchase. Payment is due at the time of purchase, and you will receive a shipping notification once the order is on its way to you. 

    Please note that pre-order ship dates are estimates and may be subject to change. If there’s any substantial change to the expected ship date on your order, we’ll be sure to let you know

    Wen will my pre-order ship?

    Most pre-orders ship on or before the date listed on your order confirmation or the date listed in your latest order update. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Client Concierge Team at info@lelogejewelry.com . Our team can provide a more detailed status update for your particular order.

    Do you ship internationally?

    We currently offer global international shipping. We ship orders through UPS, FedEx, and DHL. All orders ship with tracking and insurance. Instructions in detail and shipping & delivery estimates will be provided when you check out.

    International transit times via the third-party logistic companies vary based on destination but generally take between 3 to 5 business days. Due to reduced airline capacity as a result of COVID, please expect an additional 2 days for delivery during high-volume sale or holiday periods.

    Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a link to your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours upon receiving your order tracking to see a status update.

    Please note we are unable to ship to APO/FPO/DPO or PO boxes. 

    Will I be charged duties & taxes?

    International customers are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees outlined by local Customs authority. All international packages are shipped DDU (duties and taxes unpaid), meaning these fees are not included in the price of goods purchased from our website.

    It is your responsibility to pay these fees in order to receive the parcel. We are unable to advise the amounts of what these fees might be, if applicable at all. Please contact your country's custom office for estimated charges and rates on packages coming from overseas.

    Can I update my order/ address?

    If you entered the wrong address at the time of placing your order or would like to amend the items in your order, please contact our Client Concierge team immediately via email info@lelogejewelry.com with your #order number.

    Please double check that all address and billing details are entered correctly at the time of check out as we are not liable to replace or resend your parcel if the shipment is returned to sender due to wrong address entered.

    • For Domestic Orders: If a tracking number has already been issued for your order, small fees will be incurred and charged by the third-party logistic partners.
    • For International Orders: We are unable to reroute shipments once they have been shipped.

    Will a signature be required on delivery?

    Yes, as our pieces are of high value, recipient's signature will be required on delivery. If you are not able to accept your order, then the delivery driver will attempt to leave your item with a neighbour and if this isn't possible your order will be taken back to your local sorting office where a collection or re-delivery can be arranged.

    Are your gemstones natural and authentic?

    Yes, all of our gemstones are natural and authentic. We do not use any lab-made gemstones. 

    • We have strict quality control process in place to make sure that all gemstones used are natural and authentic. For every creation, our team personally hand selects the stones. This ensures that each one meets our standard of color, clarity, and brilliance to deliver a quality piece.
    • We strive to be transparent in our process. Upon request, we can provide certificates of each gemstone used in the design. Certificate fees will be charged per request.

    Where are the gemstones sourced?

    We take pride in ourselves on responsible sourcing of our gemstones and value the close relationship with our providers. We place a strong emphasis on sourcing materials from all over the world with our ethically proven providers.

    These countries include, but are not limited to: USA, Brazil, Africa, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Australia, Ethiopia and Australia.

    Are the diamonds conflict free?

    Yes, all of our creative designers and designs are thoroughly vetted and use conflict-free diamonds. We have very personal relationships with all our suppliers and only work with people of the upmost ethics and quality.

    How are our jewelries made?

    At L'Éloge Jewelry, our jewelleries are handled with extreme care and talents from all over the world before delivering them to your hand. Taking inspiration from European art in Europe, our jewelleries are all designed by our creative designers in London and Hong Kong and distributed through the Hong Kong hub. With the gemstones sourced globally, our talented and experienced artisans brings these designs to reality at our accredited ethical and sustainable venues.

    What is 14K Solid Gold?

    The purest form of gold is at 24K with almost orange in colour. However, it can get scratches easily and it is not durable enough to work with. Owing to this durability issue, alloys are added in the process of making jewelry while mixing with other metals. This is known as Solid Gold.

    At L'Éloge, we offer jewellery in 14K Solid Gold meaning that there are 14 parts pure gold and 10 parts other alloys since we endeavour at striking a balance between durability, affordability and appearance for our community of fine jewellery lovers. 14k gold is the most commonly used gold for jewellery settings.

    What are the differences between 10K, 14K & 18K Gold?

    At L'Éloge, we offer jewellery in 14K Solid Gold. For 14K Solid Gold, we are striking a balance between durability and appearance for our community of fine jewellery lovers.

    The purest form of gold is 24k. Gold and gold alloys are measured by the percentage of pure gold in comparisons of other metals used. Karats (k) are used to measure the solid gold content of a gold alloy while carats (c) are used to measure the weight of diamonds.

    What are the inclusions in natural diamonds and gemstones?

    Natural diamonds and gemstones typically have inclusions, matrix and minor imperfections within the stone since we do not use man-made stones. These are simply part of each stone's unique and natural characteristics. 

    We have strict quality control process in place to make sure that all gemstones used are natural and authentic. For every creation, our team personally hand selects the stones. This ensures that each one meets our standard of color, clarity, and brilliance to deliver a quality piece.
